It’s been nearly 30 years since McDonald’s has collaborated with a celebrity to create a unique and tasty meal all their own. That all ended today when the Golden Arches unveiled the highly-anticipated Travis Scott meal. It’s only here for a LIMITED-TIME so let’s get started!
It was a hectic morning at McDish HQ, but nothing was going to get in the way of ordering this intriguing meal as soon as lunch service began at 10:30am.
I pulled into the parking lot of the Seabrook, NH McDonald’s location precisely at 10:38. After noticing 4 vehicles in the drive-thru line, I figured I’d place my order inside and have a quick look around.
Upon entering the location I was greeted by the fresh aroma of french fries and burgers. They smelled particularly appetizing because I hadn’t eaten breakfast and was borderline hangry. On NFD’s (new food days) I intentionally skip my morning meal so absolutely nothing interferes or disguises the taste of the ingredients. This location has been recently remodeled and offers self-ordering kiosks. The dining room was impeccably clean….. yet deserted. This was odd since NH removed all virus restrictions two weeks ago and permits inside dining at 100% capacity.

I began the search for my TSM (Travis Scott meal) under the “Meals” tab but unfortunately it wasn’t anywhere to be found. After another minute or two of poking around the screens I dedided to admit defeat and went to the main register for assistance.
As noted earlier, my visit was during the transition from breakfast to lunch so a staff member wasn’t particularly easy to find. At this point there were several customers ordering inside the restaurant and the manager just happened to make an appearance from the kitchen area. Hooray!
He kindly welcomed me and asked for my order. I told him my dilemma and he shot out from behind the register, over to the kiosk, cleansed his hands with sanitizer (BRAVO) and turned to me with a shocked look on his face. “It was there yesterday,” he exclaimed, as he sheepishly returned to the register. He apologized profusely for the confusion and finished getting my particulars (burger as-is, no upgrades and a Sprite) in less than 10 seconds. Not too shabby!
The total price of my meal, inclusive of 9% NH meals tax, was $6.54.
This is a remarkable value as the self-ordering kiosk inside the McDonald’s that I visited listed the price of a Quarter Pounder with cheese at $5.59 (less tax).

THE BIG REVEAL
With my mission of obtaining a TSM complete, all that was left to do was inventory, photograph and EAT! Here’s what you get for your 6 bucks:
- 1 Quarter Pounder with cheese, shredded lettuce, sliced onion, 3 pickles, ketchup and mustard
- 1 Medium French Fry
- 1 BBQ Sauce
- 1 Medium fountain soda (I had to go with the Sprite!)
Here’s what my order looked in the bag:

And here are the contents on full display!

My TSM experience began with a quick fry count. There were 81 fries in the container as well as 2 bag-fries for a total of 83. I’ve read online that the typical medium fry count clocks in at 73 so all was good in the tater department.

Don’t forget the sauce!

The medium Sprite was icy cold and tasted great. I always enjoy when my straw is included in the bag and not handed to me separately.

The outside of the burger box was nothing special. I would have preferred a Travis Scott or Cactus Jack logo on the container but that was all quickly forgotten once the seal was cracked.

Here’s the burger — all hot and delicious!

If you’re a McDonald’s aficionado then you’ll probably remember that the McJordan meal included bacon as well. But it wasn’t just any old bacon. It was CIRCLE BACON! My TSM included 3 delicious strips of perfectly cooked bacon that each measured approximately 3.5″ in length.

I must admit that it was a bit messy under the hood. But there definitely were 3 pickles (albeit tiny), some shredded lettuce, onions, mustard and ketchup on that bun!

It’s not polite to talk about weight, but with a $6 price tag, aren’t you even remotely curious?
The entire sandwich, including a few lettuce scraps in the box piled on top for good measure, weighed in at a mammoth 7.5 ounces. That’s almost half a pound!!!

Before digging in, I thought a cross-section of the burger was in order. Don’t get too hungry now…..

Aftermath and Analysis:
The TSM was nearly perfect except for perhaps maybe a bit too much onion on top of the sandwich. Yes, I’m truly being picky! I was also quite surprised that the shredded lettuce didn’t leave me with even the faintest hint of bun sogginess.
I’ve been dipping my fries in bbq sauce for years so I’m glad Mr. Scott confirmed what I already knew.
Will I be back for another Travis Scott meal before the offer expires on October 4th? You better believe it!
Thanks for reading and I hope you’ll consider dining with me again real soon. It’s been my pleasure.
